On a perfect-temperature Sunday, bicycling through the Dordogne region of France, I came into a small village where the sidewalks were old stones and buildings, plastered with stucco. The painted shutters now aged patina colors.
The charm was amazing. The history almost overtook me.
Wanting to never lose this moment and feeling, I just had to paint it.
Now you can join in the feeling and memory every time you glance at the painting.
